  • InterCoat® ChemGuard Black
    Achieve an aged pre-patina look with our corrosion-inhibiting coating for galvanized substrates.

    InterCoat® ChemGuard is a line of versatile, customizable, corrosion-inhibiting coatings that create a permanent molecular bond with most zinc and zinc-alloy coated substrates such as hot dipped galvanized, galvanneal, electrogalvanized, and ZAM®. This bond, which we call InterReactive®, allows for substrate self-healing and cut-edge protection. This mechanism is what sets ChemGuard apart, with several patents worldwide. It is also RoHS and Prop 65 compliant.
    • Able to be roll formed dry
    • Compatible with downstream processing (slitting, perforating, CTL, painting)
    • Can function as an adhesion promoter
    • Environmentally friendly
    • Can replace the need to source heavier zinc weight substrates
      • HDG G40 coated with InterCoat® ChemGuard can outperform a HDG G235
